| About Clara Lago |
Born March 6, 1990 in Madrid, Spain, Clara is listed at 1'66 m (i.e., cute as a button).
If you live in Spain or just plain out give a hoot about Spanish cinema, you probabaly recognize Ms. Lago from the 2009 Goya's. She was one of the presenters who had some trouble opening one of the envelopes! But as stunning as she looked (see our publicity photos), I don't think anybody minded much!
Clara Lago has been an actress since age 8 or 9, when she has indicated being caught by the acting bug while watching movies and spending hours behaving like the protagonist. Beginning with voice roles as a child, she progressed into episodic television shows and movies, gaining lead roles in shows such as Lex and movies such as El Juego del ahorcado, released in January of 2009.
She has been nominated for 2003 Goya Award as Best New Actress for "Carol's Journey" and has won the 2004 Toulouse Cinespana student jury award as Best New Actress for "Your Next Life."
Ms. Lago also has quite the career as a model, as you may like to see in her modeling photos and our video of a shoot for Ragazza magazine.
Some trivia we have gleaned about Clara:
She is a fan of belly dancing (whohoo!), and has taken exotic dance classes.
She is terrified of spiders (who isn't).
She has a desire to meet Angeline Jolie, and really, really likes Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt.
Favority tv shows include Lost and Heroes.
One of the actors that inspired her to pursue the profession of being an actress is Geena Davis.
Knows all of the dialogue of Titanic (Movie) by memory.
